I think it's mixed. He's getting a little more good will than he otherwise would simply because of the fact that we understand what he may mean to this playoff run. If he had returned one or two seasons ago I think he would have been booed off the ice... until he scored his first goal that is.

Hi Paul, my thoughts and prayers are with the Davis family. I knew them as well. A terrible accident. I hear his girlfriend is still in critical condition.

Can't wait to see Rads in the NHL again, he's been by far too good for the competition for Salavat. I think you guys will be happy to see his passing skills have increased about ten fold since he left. The insane celebrations remain though.

That is my understanding as well... the senior class is praying a rosary right now at the school in Kevin's memory and to his girlfriends recovery.

Well that could go either way. I think Suter's future depends on how deep they go this year. IMO an early exit translate to Suter leaving.

What causes more a distraction to the team; Suter keeps deflecting these questions or would signing an extension cause a frenzy in the locker room if guys knew he wanted to stay?

I for one am planning on booing him the first time he steps on ice. I think he deserves it and should expect it. After I get that out of my system, I'll cheer for him and hope for the best.

My thoughts too. He hasn't said one positive thing in regard to re-signing with the Preds.

EDIT: This also contradicts everything he's said up to this point about wanting to see a commitment to winning.

For those with concerns of him not fitting in or causing issues with chemistry this article is pretty enlightening. Especially the second part of this quote from Weber “It’s going to be weird since he’s been gone for a few years now. I’m sure he hasn’t changed much and could have only gotten better and improved as a player. … I just talked to him a few days ago and he’s excited to be back and we’re excited to have him.” Weber must be pretty good friends with Radulov if they have in fact talked in the past few days. I also think that this another indication that Radulov being back may not be that short term of a thing and that he could very easily re-sign here and not return to the KHL. Also, no matter what Suter says Radulov being back does in fact help with the potential of both him and Weber re-signing.
